These are two very pretty set of milk glass candle holders by Kemple Glass. They are stunning, truly beautiful design. They are in good vintage condition with minimal wear and tear, one teeny tiny chip on bottom corner of one, see photo.
Reproductions of antique patterns were made from old molds from the 1940’s to the 70’s, by John E. Kemple Glassworks. Some of the old molds originated from the late 1800s and some were early American pattern glass molds like Toltec, had been used to make pressed glass, Kemple used them to make milk glass and colored glass in different designs. John Kemple, a descendant of five generations of glass makers made the glass in Ohio until 1956 and then in West Virginia until the company closed.
