This is a great gold token from the De Soto National Memorial in Bradenton, Florida. Hernando De Soto lived from 1500 to 1542, he was a Spanish Conquistador and leader of the first major exploration of our Southeastern United States. for anyone who enjoyed the Prince George’s County Fair, anytime but especially the one in 1970! I don’t know much about it. But I thought it was cool. It’s in good vintage condition. The plastic case it’s in has seen better days, (see photos).
