These are two very pretty double black amethyst candle stick holders by the L.E. Smith Co., during the depression, (At least Im pretty sure they are but they aren’t signed or marked).
The L.E. Smith actually opened in 1907 in Jeanette, Pennsylvania but didn’t become really popular until 1910-1921 from its factory in Mt. Pleasant. They produced mustard jars, fruit and jelly jars and even the headlights for Henry Ford’s Model T. Visit www.collectorsweekly.com
They are in good vintage condition and simply gorgeous! Oh yea and they also glow a beautiful purple when you hold them up to the light.
