This is a solid brass large American Brass Kettle #5. It also has the #11 on reach side near the handle but I think that means 11” wide. This is an antique primitive brass bucket with a perfect amount of dents, dings, oxidation and wear to it. The finish is great and the bucket is still very shiny. The handle is made of forged iron, bucket is spun brass with a rolled rim, naturally authentic patina. This one has three claw feet unlike any other I’ve found on Etsy. The feet definitely give it a “fancier” feel. This would be perfect to sit on the side of fireplace with kindling or just about a million other reasons! It could hold apples or even candy for Halloween. The American Brass Comiany was in business from 1899-1922, so the bucket is basically 100 Or more years of age! VERY cool!
