This large paper mache is something else! He’s highly collectible and made by artist, Jeanne Valentine. Very little if any knicks on this guy which is surprising for its age and because it’s paper mache.
A little about the artist, Jeanne Valentine was born in Paris, France sometime in the early 1900’s. She came to the USA in the 1940’s abd by 1950 was a well known fashion designer. In the 60’s she left the fashion industry to focus on the French art of paper mache and started her own studio in San Miguel, Mexico.
